Our Wedding

From long-distance calls to “I do” —here’s a glimpse at our journey so far. We met in 2007 — back when Skype was the latest tech and long-distance conversations felt like magic. What started as a fun adventure quickly grew into something deeper, lasting and more beautiful than anything we could have ever imagined. Over the years, we've explored the world together, celebrated birthdays and holidays in different time zones, and shared beautiful memories with family scattered across the globe. We've had the joy of meeting each other's grandparents whom have left us with warm, lasting impressions and are all dearly missed. "Home" has been in many places - Virginia, Maryland, California, and Washington - and just like everything else in life, our surroundings have shifted and changed. But through it all, we've always found home in each other. We've studied together, graduated, cheered at weddings, and welcomed new life into our family — including two lovable dogs, nephews and a niece, and most recently, our greatest joy: our child. After nearly two decades of adventures, growth, and love, we are so excited to finally say "I do." Thank you for being part of our story — and for helping us celebrate the beginning of this next chapter. * * * * * De llamadas a larga distancia al “sí, acepto” —aquí tienen un vistazo de nuestro camino hasta ahora. Nos conocimos en 2007 — cuando Skype era la tecnología más novedosa y las conversaciones a larga distancia se sentían como algo mágico. Lo que comenzó como una aventura divertida rápidamente se transformó en algo más profundo, duradero y más hermoso de lo que jamás pudimos imaginar. A lo largo de los años, hemos explorado el mundo juntos, celebrado cumpleaños y festividades en diferentes husos horarios, y compartido recuerdos hermosos con familia repartida por todo el mundo. Tuvimos la dicha de conocer a los abuelos del otro, quienes nos dejaron impresiones cálidas y duraderas, y a quienes extrañamos profundamente. “Hogar” ha significado muchos lugares — Virginia, Maryland, California y Washington — y, como todo en la vida, nuestro entorno ha ido cambiando. Pero a través de todo, siempre hemos encontrado nuestro hogar el uno en el otro. Hemos estudiado juntos, nos hemos graduado, celebrado bodas, y dado la bienvenida a nuevas vidas en nuestra familia — incluyendo dos adorables perritos, sobrinos, una sobrina y, más recientemente, nuestra mayor alegría: nuestro hijo. Después de casi dos décadas de aventuras, crecimiento y amor, estamos muy emocionados de finalmente decir “Sí, acepto.” Gracias por ser parte de nuestra historia y por ayudarnos a celebrar el comienzo de este nuevo capítulo.
